Black grass

Wild grass. In May it makes black spikelets. By June, the spikelets disappear. The grass grows up to 3 feet high. Marvelous. But the grass is green from April to October. Even in a severe drought, the grass does not sting. I never mow this grass. She has been growing like this for 13 years. I like that the garden has a place for wildlife.
