Iceland's volcano eruption suggests 'new cycle'

The volcanic eruption that took place on Iceland's Reykjanes Peninsula on Monday (July 10), the third after similar events in the area in 2021 and 2022, may be a sign of a new eruptive cycle in the region, according to the managing director of the Icelandic Met Office's service and research division.
