Sony expecting $2.1 billion loss for fiscal year

Sony has recently acknowledged what most analysts have predicted for months; it won't be a major player in the smartphone market. In the latest of a series of downgrades to its earnings outlook, Sony said it expected to post a $2.1 billion loss for the fiscal year.
