Movie Review: Sound of Freedom

This is the real deal. Based on the true story of Tim Ballard, (Jim Caviezel) who saved children from the clutches of human traffickers. This is more than just a "feel good" movie. As a matter of fact, it will make you feel quite uneasy at times, as the subject matter of child exploitation can be hard to deal with. Sound of Freedom does a great job of telling this important story. This is no shoestring budget movie. The movie was produced by Fox prior to its acquisition by Disney. Disney then shelved the movie. (A decision Disney might regret, considering the direction they've taken lately.) The acting, direction, and production are all top-notch. The pacing is good, there are no lulls in the story, and nor is it manic, even in the action sequences. Don't see it because it's won praise in the conservative media. Don't see it because it's not "woke". See if for the drama, for the gripping story, see it because it's a good movie.
