I came across the SHIMANO ST-EF500-L4A Mountain Bicycle Shift/Brake Lever and decided to give it a try. I must say, it looks really good on my bike and adds a fresh and sleek look to it.
One of the main reasons I chose this product is because it is a great replacement for older 3x7 shifters. I had the old-style design of my STX shifters, but they were no longer functioning properly.
However, these SHIMANO shifters work perfectly as a replacement on my older bike. I also found that these shift/brake levers are a perfect fit for my older Diamondback Edgewood Hybrid.
