Playful dolphin bumps surfer off his board

What a fun video! On August 15th, 2014, The Vintners Surf Classica was being held in Jongensfontein, South Africa. One lucky paddle rider was in for a surprise. A pod of dolphins decided it would be fun to knock this stand up paddle rider right off his board! These dolphins have a lot of power! Hilarious! We hope this man is okay! What a great underwater view we get of these beautiful dolphins, amazing! Usually surfers get knocked over by waves, but that wasn't the case this time! The dolphins wanted to join in on the fun too! There are almost 40 different dolphin species in the world, the majority of them live in shallow climates in tropical oceans. Some species even live in rivers! Dolphins are carnivores and they love to eat fish, squid and crustaceans. Yum! Dolphins are very intelligent and love to play around, you can definitely see they are playful as they knock this paddle rider right off his feet! Dolphins are very social animals and they travel around in large groups. Dolphins are also mammals so they still need to come up to the surface of the water to breathe. They breathe through their blowholes.
