A Jaw-Dropping Spy Plane Move - Defying Space Constraints!

Ever wondered how a spy plane, 10 feet wider than the room it needs to fit in, could be successfully relocated? Brace yourself for the incredible story of how it was accomplished!

In an extraordinary feat, the SR-71 spy plane was gracefully maneuvered from the Richmond Virginia Aviation Museum, located adjacent to Richmond International Airport, to its new home at the prestigious Science Museum of Virginia.

Joining forces for this ambitious endeavor, Marty Batura, the esteemed owner of Worldwide Aircraft Recovery based in Nebraska, collaborated with the resourceful W.M. Jordan Company to tackle the daunting challenge of moving an aircraft that simply didn't fit the space!

And now, we proudly present a captivating time-lapse that chronicles the entire process, from meticulously preparing the room to witnessing the awe-inspiring sight of the plane gliding along I-64.

This particular relocation project holds a special place in our hearts as one of the most memorable time-lapse jobs we've had the privilege to undertake in recent years. We extend our sincerest gratitude to W.M. Jordan for granting us the opportunity to capture such a historic and momentous move!

Prepare to be amazed as boundaries are surpassed and challenges are conquered in this awe-inspiring spectacle. Stay tuned for the full story as we unveil the remarkable journey of this one-of-a-kind spy plane relocation!
