President Erdogan in Lithuania for NATO Summit

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, to attend the NATO Heads of State and Government Summit.
President Erdogan and his wife Emine Erdogan were welcomed at Vilnius Airport by Turkish Ambassador to Vilnius Görkem Barış Tantekin, Turkey's Permanent Representative to NATO Ambassador Zeki Levent Gümrükçü and other officials.
Erdoğan was accompanied by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Minister of National Defence Yaşar Güler, Head of National Intelligence Service İbrahim Kalın and Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun.
At the summit, views will be exchanged at the strategic level on the war in Ukraine as well as the challenges to the NATO geography. At the summit, plans to strengthen the Alliance's defence structure and deterrence against the main threats identified by NATO, especially terrorism, will be discussed.
President Erdoğan will also hold bilateral meetings within the scope of the summit.
