Mixed Media Project - ART LESSON PLANS (Art Teaching Resource - Children, Kids, Adults) - Tutorial How To Artist

Start off by going over different types of media artists use and ask how they are different and similar. For the pre-project, fold a piece of paper in half and then half again and in each section have the students draw lines, shapes and shading with a pencil, black pen, black crayon and charcoal. Ask which one they like best, how they are different/similar/etc. For the main project have them draw 4 objects (example - different pieces of fruit) and use a different media for each one.
