Russia's Tu-160 strategic missile carrier up-close

The following statement accompanied this video on the Russian MOD Telegram channel:
"Two Tu-160 strategic missile carrier aircraft land at military airfield in Vorkuta, Komi Republic, during tactical flight exercise of Russian Aerospace Forces

The crews practised a non-stop flight from the base airfield, in addition to performing two refueling in the air from IL-78 transport tanker aircraft.

During the flight the crews of the long-range aviation flew about 9 thousand kilometres, the flight time was more than 12 hours.

In the course of the mission, the crews practised various missions, including combat flights to use aerial weapons against predetermined training targets, in conditions of countering enemy air defence faclities, as well as search and rescue flights in the Arctic."
