Why is Israel destroying roads in the West Bank?

The West Bank is kind of weird when it comes to Palestinian militants because they do not have access to many of the heavy weapons and rockets that militants in Lebanon and Gaza have due to their relatively secure border with Jordan. So Palestinians in the West Bank make due with small arms and Improvised Explosives Devices or IEDs.
