Russian Aerospace Forces and Syrian Air Force hold the first stage of joint exercises

They are exercising control over Syrian airspace. The effectiveness of the air defence system of the Russian grouping of troops (forces) is being tested.

▫️ The electronic warfare units are also involved in the training to practise joint actions to repel air strikes by a mock enemy.

The exercise will continue until the middle of July.
