Russian Aerospace Forces and Syrian Air Force hold the first stage of joint exercises

06.07.23 - They are exercising control over Syrian airspace. The effectiveness of the air defence system of the Russian grouping of troops (forces) is being tested.

▫️ The electronic warfare units are also involved in the training to practise joint actions to repel air strikes by a mock enemy.

The exercise will continue until the middle of July.
