My Content Creation Journey #transformation

I still have a lot of growth to go but when I look back at where I started…I CRINGE!

I still don’t quite get what compelled me to start speaking on camera, perhaps I saw others doing it and was inspired, maybe I wanted to share my thoughts, whatever the case I was clearly deficient in that area of my life.

But you know what…I still did it!

Iteration after iteration, I challenged myself to keep going and get better. I connected with others that had the gift of gab and learned a lot from watching people who were naturally gifted at speaking.

I left the hometown I grew up in and joined a group of melanated strangers in Costa Rica that placed me in the most foreign circumstances I had been in. The unfamiliarity of all of it really challenged me to summon parts of myself that were dormant or underdeveloped.

All along the journey, I continued to get on camera and express myself, using the camera as a form of venting and self-expression.

If you have been curious about sharing your thoughts or life online with the world, here are my two cents. From my personal experience, it comes with challenges like being persecuted for your thoughts, having to take the higher road (or just going off on people if you want to), and feeling like you constantly have to share everything, but my verdict ultimately is that it’s worth it.

For me, it has been a massively transformative catalyst for my own personal development and I believe it has played a pivotal role in developing who I am today.

If you want to be supported in bringing out more expression, more sharing and ultimately more growth in your life, join the Wild Brotherhood and be part of a community where you are encouraged to speak and grow through this practice.
