Good afternoon SBC Family and Friends,

If you ever have questions, please ask. I'm an open book and I'm here to help you get answers to questions you may have. I am a question asker. 😊

If there is anything I can pray for, please ask. I am here to pray for you! 🙂

Tonight we'll cover a few more verses in 1 Thessalonians. Paul thanks the Lord again, this time for the work of the word of God. The word of God actually does work inside of us. It changes us. Many Christians don't study the Bible. They might look at it a few times a year. There is not going to be much change in those Christians. We need to be in the word daily to see the change in our lives that we're wanting to see.

Paul desire to go see the Thessalonians, but Satan hindered him. We really see Paul's heart in this section. His reward was the people and their changed lives! People are more important than your personal achievements. Pour into people. That will last forever. Build a forever legacy by pouring into people. The rest of this stuff will be blown away. We are running out of time. God wants us to invest in people.

"For who is our hope or joy or crown of exultation? Is it not even you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming? For you are our glory and joy."

See the attached handout. See you tonight!

Grace to you,
Jeremy
