Cop pulls woman from burning car in daring rescue

Heart-stopping bodycam footage has been released of a Georgia sheriff’s deputy saving a driver trapped inside of a burning vehicle.

The dramatic video captures Sgt. Ashleigh Taylor of Candler County Sheriff’s Office fighting through the undergrowth to get to the blazing vehicle, breaking the window, and saving the woman trapped inside. The officer then rushed back to see whether anyone else was inside the car.

Sheriff John Miles of Candler County praised Taylor for his speedy and selfless actions, and thanked the passing motorists who stopped to help.
