Fertile Valleys Ruined by Toxin. (Isaiah 28:1-4a)

The valley here is ruined by an invading army. I'd argue that the invading army was simply cleaning up the shambling, living-dead, that were still living there. The fertile valley, the golden crown was tarnished. Tarnished by shed blood, by injustice, by idol worship, by evil. So many innocent's blood shed, so many hurting, lost, broken, children who suffered because of the foolishness of bad leaders. How desperate a place that people ate each other. The part that rends my heart is that I could be describing then or describing now. The end result is the same. Fill the nation with the blood of the innocent; fail to look after the justice of the poor (outsiders, not just those with now money), the orphan, the widow, the immigrant. How we treat the least of these shows us the best of what we are. If we treat those is need like scum, is there anything in us but toxic run off? If we are HIS, yes. If we are HIS though, why do we want to treat so poorly what HE gave so much to create, love, care for, and redeem.
