Installing 12V Power Wheels gearboxes and motors into a KidZone bumper car

This was a surprise upgrade as I wanted to utilize barely used 12V motors and gearboxes from the Power Wheels that I put into before my first video. My daughter totaled the car from crashing into the curb in which the crash broke the front axel off the frame and was pretty much unfixable. I didn’t want the items to go unused so I decided to put them in the bumper car. So, when your child hands you a basket of lemons, you make lemonade!
This gearbox swap was pretty fun to do, and the outcome was way better than I imagined. I believe most bumper cars you buy today are outfitted with 12V motors but if you have an older 6V version, buying some new gearboxes and making this upgrade is a MUST if you want to entertain the kids.
Be sure to subscribe as I might look into putting in a new voltage regulator and 60V battery into the system!
