Lacrimosa

Here's a piece I composed when I was 17, shortly after a childhood friend of mine was killed by a drunk driver. I asked her to marry me in 3rd grade, as she reminded me at our graduation party. Shortly thereafter, the week before she died, she drove me around town in her dad's ice cream truck. We sold ice cream.

In my early 20's I added this piece to full Requiem mass in Latin.
