➡️ How to Boost Your Lungs?
Some herbs and natural remedies can be effective when it comes to providing a boost for the respiratory system. If the symptoms are too severe or unbearable, this is when people begin looking into over-the-counter medications for relief. Most over-the-counter medications can only benefit your lungs and breathing in an indirect way. They work in ways such as preventing a cough, getting rid of congestion, or reducing fever. As always, you should seek help from your doctor if you have signs and symptoms of a respiratory condition.

➡️ Over-the-Counter Medications
A few of the over-the-counter medications that I wanted to mention include vapor rubs, pain relievers, and decongestants.

➡️ Vapor Rubs
Vapor rubs are readily available and can provide quick relief for congestion and a cough. Just simply apply the ointment to the chest, throat, upper back, forehead, or around the nose for short-term relief.

➡️ NSAIDs
Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can be used to temporarily relieve pain and reduce fever and inflammation.

➡️ Decongestants
Another over-the-counter medication that you can consider is a decongestant which can help temporarily clear the airways of mucus and phlegm. They come in various forms such as nasal sprays, drops, and tablets. While they may be effective in the short term, these are generally not recommended for long-term use. Decongestants come in various strengths and dosages, therefore, be cautious and consult with a physician about the risks and benefits of taking this type of medication.
