The Strange Case of Dr. Cameron: The CIA's Mind Control Experiments

It’s no secret that governments around the world have gone to immense lengths to secure their existence from global threats, even at the expense of citizens. However, the United States’ own Central Intelligence Agency or CIA has a notable track record of questionable and downright unethical programs created with the purpose of protecting American national security.
While the government agency has presented itself as a safeguard against America’s enemies, it has also made great efforts to conceal its often darker inner operations.

To this day, few are aware of the CIA’s involvement in employing medical doctors to conduct grisly and downright horrific illegal human experimentation in an effort to develop tactics to extract confessions from the unwilling.

One such doctor involved in this scheme was the Scottish-born psychiatrist, Dr. Donald Ewen Cameron. His task would be to oversee a series of bizarre and cruel experiments in an attempt to find a way to alter the human mind and make it susceptible to implanted thoughts and behaviors.
