Gelled alcohol is designed for clean burning inside of indoor and outdoor fake fireplace fixtures. The energy density allows it to actually heat your house in a similar way as a real fireplace so I got to wondering. Can I actually use them to heat a portion of a house in case of a cold weather power outage?
