"You Have Rights Over Your Own Body": Medical Freedom Party's Steve Speer Talks 2023 Election Goals

On June 29, 2023, the Central Queens Republican Club held a "June 27 Primary Candidates and Leaders" meeting following the June 27 primary election for New York City Council seats. Candidates who were on the ballot and party leaders from the Republican, Conservative, and Medical Freedom parties spoke and answered questions at the event. District 29 candidate Danniel Maio led the meeting.

Medical Freedom Party organizer Steve Speer talked with me after the event about the party's goals and 2023 City Council candidates. He also addressed some long-standing criticisms.
