THE REPORT THAT KILLS YOUR FAITH

The Scriptures tell us that we are wrestling with spirits, not flesh and blood.
I have been serving in the kingdom of God most of my life, and that's one principle that I can't afford to forget but often do. What would cause us to forget that we're not wrestling with people but with the enemy that guide, control, or dominate people?
Let me answer that question by going to the scriptures in number 13.
Here is a good illustration of what happens to a person between hearing the truth and hearing the facts.
Joshua and Caleb brought an accurate report from the spirit of God concerning Victory when they said we are able to go up and take this country.
The ten spies came back with an overview of the facts.
Fact number one there are Giants in the land.
Fact number two, there's a whole bunch of them.
Fact number three they're a lot bigger than we are, and we are grasshoppers in our sight and also in theirs.
Fact number four they are stronger than we are.
Well, that did the job on the congregation. Their faith was destroyed in the God who had been delivering them and providing for them on their trip through the wilderness.
The report from the ten spies, which listed the facts at hand, turned the congregation into a mob that wanted to stone Joshua and Caleb for telling the truth.
Remember this; the Scriptures tell us that you shall know the truth, and the truth will set you free. It is not the facts that set you free. It is the truth of God's word and the promises and covenants of the kingdom of God that he has sealed by his blood.
Whose report will you believe?
We have to believe the report of the Lord!
