When asked how he was able to continue fighting after being drilled to the canvas in Round 1 he had this to say:

"Well, that was more of a flash knockdown. I didn't get stunned by it at all. I was more mad. I got up a little too quick. I should have waited the whole eight second count and make him think I was hurt. But I wasn't. And. And it was the end of the round. Anyway. So my my corner. Kai Stewart and training partner, he just told me to stay patient and help me regroup."

Dennis said that he went into the fight with a patient mindset and aimed for a knockout, which he successfully achieved. He mentioned that he believed his opponent, René, was orthodox and only switched stances to confuse his opponents.

"I think he's orthodox and Switch is just just to mess with his opponents. But I caught on to it. Started beating the foot right away so I could tell he was scared and switched back to his other stance. You know? You know, scared of my power. You know, he's running away from my power all night I knocked him out!"

What's next for James Dennis he wants Dustin Disciple Page as Page had accused him of being scared.
