Random Rants: "Dial Of Destiny" Was ALWAYS A Bad Idea Made By Kathleen Kennedy

Looks like the latest 2023 box office bomb could wind up the biggest flop of the year. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, a film that cost over $300M to make and much more to market, dropped this weekend with an abysmally bad take, with only $24M for Friday. Projections have it only bringing in a pathetic $60M in the box office for the weekend, which is unbelievable for a beloved franchise like Indiana Jones.

It just goes to show that Bob Iger and Disney, you can "buy" Lucasfilm, but you can't create Lucasfilm's magic. You need a George Lucas for that.
