Cortlen Henry, aka YNW Bortlen, appeared in court Thursday for a hearing ahead of his double murder trial. Henry's attorney asked the judge to allow the rapper to work and go to church while on house arrest. The judge swiftly denied the motion after the prosecutor noted that Bortlen has violated pretrial conditions in the past. YNW Bortlen is the co-defendant of Jamell Demons, aka YNW Melly, and will face a separate trial in October after Melly's double murder case has concluded.
