The mesmerising beauty of turn of the century Paris. Filmed in 1902. We can see a lot of things that were better back then compared to now. Sure, this was an area for rich people but we can see better architecture for example. We can see kids playing in the grass barefeet. We see relaxed parents. The clothes were a big uncomfortable for women but not very.
The clothes were indeed knda too much in that heat and i understand why the fasion changed to more simplicity but still today we have crappy simplicity not a good one. Plus our modern clothes are bad for health in a different way, they restrict the blood flow in a different way than the older clothes. At least the older clothes were kinda uncomfortable but you could move more free than in the jeans and other modern clothes.
