The Supreme Court of the United States. What's there to say? The end of the October 2022 Term is taking a drive through the old neighborhood. It didn't used to be like this, don't you know? In all seriousness, June 29th's published opinions are historic. Norm and Mike convene to discuss:

› Students for Fair Admissions, Inc. v. President and Fellows of Harvard College/Students for Fair Admissions, Inc. v. University of North Carolina, et al. — Chief Justice John Roberts delivered the 6-3 majority opinion of the Court, which struck down the institutions' respective race-based admissions procedures as unconstitutional violations of equal protection. The reactions on the internet—especially those from supposed lawyers—have been dreadful (dredful?).

› Groff v. DeJoy, while overshadowed in large measure by the landmark equal protection decision in Harvard, delivered a major win for Title VII and the protection of the individual from discrimination based on one's religion. Norm and Mike set the stage for this opinion a little while back.
