Grace Bawden is a young woman who got elected as a Salisbury City Councilor. She began reading all the fine print associated with council documents. Like, what did the acronym S.M.A.R.T stand for in the roll out of the S.M.A.R.T cities program? “Self Monitoring Analysis Reporting Technology.” Isn’t that something that should concern Salisbury residents? She bought it up at a Council meeting and was summarily ejected from the Chamber. Now the Mayor wants to hold fresh elections for her and a fellow dissenting Councilors positions. Is this the democratic process in Australia or Communist China?
