* * * THE CASE OF THE CAVALIER COUNTERFEIT CRIPPLES * * *

Southwest's 'Cripple Crisis' goes unabated. It's time to act on this, don't you think? I mean, 'really', just how long will it be before they run out of wheelchairs.
It would appear that more people are 'gaming' southwest's system.

Southwest Airlines seems to have an inordinate number of handicapped people and wheelchair riders flying with them. I'm not aware of any special fares aimed at the handicapped, but there certainly is some incentive or there wouldn't be such a disparate flock of handicapped flyers.

It's Southwest's 'Section Boarding' policy where people board by groups, not seats, and pick any seat they like from what's left. If you're on Boarding Group A you've got it made, but if you're in the last part of Boarding Group C you take what you get, and that's not really 'choice', now is it?

Well, the New York Post published an article which prompted me to make this post. Click here:

Caveat emptor

Listen, read, and watch. See what you think.

I'm Max, and that's the way I see it!
