I recently received the Coleman Gas Camping Stove as part of a package deal with my camper, and I am so glad I did. It is incredibly easy to clean and holds up well during use.
One thing I love about this stove is that it doesnt use too much propane, making it perfect for car camping and extended trips. I was able to cook multiple meals without needing to refill the tank.
Before using the stove, I read through some of the reviews and came across one that discussed cleaning the valves. I followed this advice and found that my valves were coated in dark grease, so I cleaned them off before firing up the stove.
I was extremely impressed with how quickly the stove heated up my small pot of water to a boil. The heat output is much greater than I expected, and the flame adjustment is pretty touchy.
However, with a little practice, it is easy to turn the flame down to your desired heat level. While the stove is inexpensive and made of thin stamped metal, I believe that it can hold up well as long as it is not abused.
That said, you will want to be careful with the little wind screens on the sides, as the tabs that hold them in place can easily bend. For size reference, I attached a picture of my stove with a 10" Lodge cast iron skillet and an Alpine Stowaway 1.1L pot on it.
Overall, I highly recommend the Coleman Gas Camping Stove to anyone in need of an affordable and effective camping stove.
