Parisian town hall torched and dozens arrested in France after police shoot teen

The Val Fourré district town hall was burned to the ground during a night of riots across the Paris region after a 17-year-old driver was shot and killed by police during a traffic check Tuesday. 1,200 police were deployed in multiple cities around France to curb rioting and put out flames as 40 cars and multiple buildings were set on fire. Nahel M. was allegedly shot at point-blank range by a police officer when he attempted to drive off during a traffic stop.
