Lawsuit challenging Montana’s TikTok ban funded by TikTok

Chinese social media company TikTok confirmed Wednesday it is covering the legal fees for the high-profile lawsuit against Montana’s statewide ban of the video app. TikTok has been covering the legal fees for a group of five Montana TikTok influencers challenging the ban. The new legislation will ban TikTok from being offered to Montana citizens and fine companies and app stores that violate the law.
