Why is decision-making so hard?

Because it puts you straight into the field of not knowing, doubting, searching… This is not a comfortable position.

We are living in a world where there is the illusion of control and we don’t want to let go of this. When we make a decision we never know for sure how this will turn out. We want guarantees.

So being in the un-known is scary and creates a certain tension in us that we want to avoid.
