Hollywood Walk of Fame's class of 2024 will honor Chadwick Baseman, New USA

The Hollywood Walk of Fame's class of 2024 will honor Chadwick Boseman, the late actor who starred in the "Black Panther" film franchise. Boseman will be posthumously inducted into the Walk of Fame in the Motion Pictures category.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced the class of 2024 on Monday, June 27, 2023. Boseman is one of 38 new honorees, which also includes Gal Gadot, Kevin Feige, and Sheryl Lee Ralph.

Boseman died in 2020 at the age of 43 after a private battle with colon cancer. He was best known for his role as T'Challa/Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He also starred in films such as "42," "Get On Up," and "Marshall."

Boseman's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame will be located at 6801 Hollywood Boulevard. The date of the unveiling has not yet been announced.
