KARIMAJONG MPs SPEAKOUT ON IRON SHEET SCANDAL

Members of Parliament from Karamoja Sub region under the Karamoja Parliamentary Forum, have shunned the Director of Public Prosecution loss of interest in the preferred charges against the 17 ministers who were implicated in the Karamoja iron sheet scandal.
Speaking before the press at the Members Lounge in Parliament, the Chairperson of the Karamoja Parliamentary forum, RemigioAchia revealed that the DPP exonerated the ministers without any iota of truth in her loss of interest submission to court.
Remigio stressed that the office of the prime minister has heard a history of scandals involving misappropriation of funds for vulnerable communities in Uganda.
