Obama Food Lunch Program Was About Putting Atrazine In the Food

I have heard in many areas it was put into the water. What is Atrazine? Say hello to atrazine, the second-most widely used herbicide in the U.S. behind glyphosate (the active ingredient in Roundup) and likely just as dangerous, most infamously as an endocrine disruptor. While other countries have banned the herbicide, atrazine is still used in American crops — and often winds up in our water supply. In fact, it’s the most common chemical contaminant in U.S. water supplies.
In 2012, Syngenta, manufacturer of atrazine, was the defendant in a class-action lawsuit concerning the levels of atrazine in human water supplies. Syngenta agreed to pay $105 million to reimburse more than one thousand water systems for "the cost of filtering atrazine from drinking water". The company denied all wrongdoing.
