How to Locate Crappie with Side Imaging (Pre-Spawn)

Side Imaging (SideVu) is a great way to find crappie during the Pre-spawn phase. Crappie during this time of the year are sensitive to weather fronts as they start moving into shallow water to begin the spawning cycle. In this video, Davis locates a school of crappie just off the edge of a large spawning flat. These fish are normally is shallow water this time of year, but due to a cold front have been pushed to deeper water until the water temperature reaches near 60F.
