'B for Bloods': Rapper YNW Melly Constantly Flashed Gang Signs in Photos, Detective Says

YNW Melly allegedly flashed Bloods gang signs in social media photos and his music videos, according to Detective Danny Polo's testimony in court Monday. “He appears painted red,” Polo explained, claiming the Bloods often wear red to show their support for the gang. “There you’ll see he’s throwing up ‘B’ for Bloods.” Prosecutors believe the murders of Anthony Williams and Christopher Thomas Jr. could have been gang-related. YNW Melly is accused of killing them then staging the crime as a drive-by shooting.
