As anyone with who organizes for a car club or cars and coffee knows space for events is getting harder and harder to find. We can mostly thank the street takeover losers and ever idiot peeling out of their local meet for this. No one wants to let you host.

So one thing that is a common trick with many clubs is just show up at a restaurant with the group. Go inside, sit down, buy food. If all goes well and you are good customers they normally start to build relationships that eventually lead to sanctioned events.

Whats counter productive for malls that don't want to deal with car meets is you almost need this business to survive outside of Christmas time. You have Amazon shutting down many of the malls across America. At Triangle Town Center they even rent out most of the old Sears parking lot to store their trucks. But they have embraced some organized car meets. They know it only serves to bring people to their mall that otherwise wouldn't come and may now go inside and spend money.

Oh well, if Crabtree wants to go the way of Cary Town Center who am I to judge.
