In this two-part tutorial, we'll show you how to repair the fan on your Whirlpool, Kenmore, Kitchen Aid, or Frigidaire dryer. If your dryer is making strange noises or not drying your clothes properly, a faulty fan may be the culprit. With a few basic tools and some know-how, you can replace the fan yourself and save money on costly repairs.

In Part One, we'll walk you through the steps to disassemble your dryer and access the fan. We'll also show you how to test the fan to confirm that it's the source of the problem. You'll learn how to safely disconnect the electrical components and remove the drum to access the fan. By the end of this video, you'll be ready to tackle the fan replacement in Part Two.
