StarMax 64mm EDF F-18 Super Hornet RC Jet Take-Off From Grass Flying Field in Wind

I was challenged by John to take off with this jet from the grass at the flying field he just joined. Watch the video and see what happened with my BlitzRCWorks StarMax RC F-18 EDF jet Park Flyer in the Blue Angel paint scheme It looks just like the US Navy model.

I perform a few things while in the air and do some nice passes with it pretty low to the ground and my good friend John captures it all on video using the great zoom on my camera. The F-18 Super Hornet looks great in the sky! This is a F/A-18 Super Hornet even though the actual Blue Angels fly the legacy F/A-18 Hornet.

This plane is flown stock and is a Starmax 64mm EDF jet. It connects to my Orange RX or Orange Receiver with my DX6i transmitter to make it fly with a remote control. I am very pleased with how this RC Blue Angel EDF jet flies with a cheap receiver from Hobby King.

I would love to see Parkzone or E-Flite come out with something comparable to this jet or even an F-16 (A scale one, not the Habu) or an F-117 RC jet! Now that would be cool! It has been a pleasure to own and fly this jet for sure even if I crash it into a bush, among other things I have slammed into with it! There is nothing quite like an EDF F-18 RC jet crash full speed into a bush ;)
