Titanic sub disaster: Tributes pour in for victims of tragic expedition

Follawing the U.S. Coast Guords' confimation
of the deaths of the five passengers aboard
OceanGate's Titan submersible on Thursday,
tributes to the falLen explorers poured in from
achoss the globe,
Friends and family of the victins, as well as
many others haue been Paying their respects
since learning of the "catastrophic implosion =
of the vessel that would haue instantane ously
killed the five men aboard.
Among the deceased was a Pakistani father,
Shahzada Dawood, and his 19-year-old,
University student son, Sulemon. The Dawood
family issued a public statement confirming
the death of their "sons" and thanking the
Coast Guard for their vigilance in their
search.
The other three Titan passengers included
OceanGate founder Stockton Rush, French
exploreh Quthor and Titanic expert Paul-Henri
Nargeolet, and British billionaire Hamish
Harding.
The Titan went "missing" last Sundoay when
the group was enoute to the wreckage of the
RMS Titonic, near St. John's, Nfld. for an
expedition
