Kayaking the Powell River- A smallmouth and Redeye Haven

An epic day for numbers on the Powell River for the 3 of us! This little river is loaded with small smallmouth and Redeye (Rock Bass) that are a blast to catch on light tackle. Thomas painted us some small crankbaits that dive about a foot deep and the fish couldn't resist them, we also landed several on a Ned Rig, and a small 3" swimbait. You can't help but have fun when catching this many fish and share the water with 2 great friends! Enjoy this part 1 and look for part 2 in a week or so.
