I Killed And Cooked A Rooster - Paddock To Plate

This is my first paddock to plate and my first time ever killing anything, while it wasn't as clean as I would have liked it was pretty good for a first timer!

I surprisingly felt so at peace with it and did not feel or gold any guilt or shame. It was quite an experience but felt really natural. I enjoyed the process from start to finish and am happy with how it went, importantly I learnt lots of new skills along the way and have some plans on doing it a bit different next time.

Because the rooster was quite tough (they are completely free range) I would not recommend doing it slow cooked over the coals, I would do it a different way to keep the moisture in a bit more.

Majority of the other ingredients were from the farm, local and some store bought.

Thanks for watching and I promise some better quality filming next time :p

Much love, Rhani xxx
