They have thick, gray skin with sparse hair, large ears that help regulate body temperature, and a long trunk that serves various purposes.

Trunk: The trunk is a unique adaptation found only in elephants. It is an elongated muscular structure formed from the fusion of the nose and upper lip. Elephants use their trunks for a wide range of activities, including breathing, smelling, drinking, and grasping objects. The trunk is incredibly versatile and can even pick up small items like a single blade of grass.

Tusks: Both male and female elephants may have tusks, which are elongated incisor teeth that grow throughout their lives.
