When looking at victims and survivors of abuse and trauma, we often forget to consider the people around them and how their experiences impact the loved ones in their lives. When someone experiences abuse, especially as a child, the emotional ripples don't stop because the act of abuse has stopped. The effects on the victim and those in their lives are left to deal with the fallout.

Kate Storey Sweet has a bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Idaho, is a homeschool teacher, and is the wife of MK Ultra survivor J.R. Sweet. Kate walks us through her experiences of how she and her husband came to uncover the horrific details of how J.R. was tortured and programmed by the CIA, Disney, and the Mormon church as a child. Kate shares a few examples of J.R.'s revealing artwork, depicting various mind-control programming prior to experiencing specific memory recall. She also gives us an account of the brave journey she and J.R. were forced to take in order to uncover the truth of J.R.'s past and what they had to do to get on the road to healing.
