Biden's Rocket Launchers Donated to Ukraine found in México
A video captured in the state of Tamaulipas in Mexico revealed a militant associated with the infamous Gulf Cartel (Cartel Del Golfo, CDG) donning their insignia while carrying a US-manufactured anti-tank missile launcher that were recently given to Ukraine.
Military experts who closely examined the footage suggest that the weapon depicted might actually be the AT-4, a disposable anti-tank launcher manufactured in Sweden. The AT-4 is also utilized by the US military and has been extensively provided to Ukraine.
Russia has consistently cautioned the US and its allies against saturating Ukraine with weapons and ammunition, as this poses the risk of direct confrontation and the potential for these weapons to fall into the hands of criminal networks due to insufficient controls.
A militant wearing the insignia of Mexico’s notorious Gulf Cartel (Cartel Del Golfo, CDG) was filmed in the state of Tamaulipas carrying a US-made anti-tank missile launcher, thousands of which were sent to Ukraine by the Pentagon.
Over 10,000 Javelins from Pentagon stockpiles have been sent to Ukraine since last February, to the point where the US military has begun to run out of the missiles itself.
the estimated value of a Javelin launcher on the black market was anywhere from $20,000 to $60,000, while the average cost of a missile was about $30,000.
Keen-eyed military experts believe the weapon in the Milenio footage may actually be the AT-4, a Swedish-made disposable anti-tank launcher, which is also in use by the US military and likewise supplied to Ukraine by the thousands.
Russia has repeatedly warned the US and its allies not to “stuff” Ukraine with weapons and ammunition, both because this risked a direct confrontation and since nonexistent controls would result in the weapons ending up in the criminal underworld.
A RT investigation in July 2022 found a variety of Western-supplied weapons, including anti-tank rockets, for sale on the “dark web.” Several months later, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova warned that $1 billion a month worth of Western weapons was ending up in the hands of “terrorists, extremists and criminal groups in the Middle East, Central Africa, and Southeast Asia.”
The US outlet CBS censored their documentary on weapons supplies to Ukraine after the government in Kiev objected. Last month, veteran investigative journalist Seymour Hersh said the West was aware its weapons were ending up on the black market, but that most governments did not care because arming Ukraine mattered more to them.
The Gulf Cartel is based in the Mexican state of Tamaulipas, specifically in the border city of Matamoros, just across the Rio Grande from Brownsville, Texas. It dates back to the 1930s, but gained in notoriety in the late 1990s, when it spun off a notorious militia called Los Zetas. The group has since broken off on its own. Though primarily known as a drug smuggling cartel, CDG has also been accused of racketeering, abductions, money laundering, and trafficking of people, sex slaves and weapons.

In March, the cartel apologized for one of its factions kidnapping four Americans and killing two of them, in what they said was a case of mistaken identity. Five members of that faction were handed over to the Mexican police.
A previous investigation conducted by RT in July 2022 revealed the presence of various Western-supplied weapons, including anti-tank rockets, being sold on the “dark web.”
Months later, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova issued a warning, stating that Western weapons worth $1 billion per month were ending up in the possession of terrorists, extremists, and criminal groups in the Middle East, Central Africa, and Southeast Asia.
Kiev dismissed it as “propaganda” and affirmed that all individuals were properly identified.

The cartel has a long history dating back to the 1930s but gained significant notoriety in the late 1990s when it spawned a notorious militia known as Los Zetas, which has since operated independently.

The weapon, identified as a Raytheon-made FGM-148, is believed to be a Javelin missile launcher, which has been supplied to Ukraine by the Pentagon in large quantities.
The footage, filmed in Matamoros and broadcasted by Milenio TV on Tuesday, displayed the individual adorned with CDG patches, armed with a Kalashnikov rifle, and carrying the aforementioned missile launcher.

the U.S. and its NATO allies have supplied billions of dollars worth of weapons and ammunition to support Ukraine, raising concerns that some of it could end up in the wrong hands
A number of accounts shared the video clip or screenshots of it on Thursday that shows members of a Mexican cartel carrying the Javelins "smuggled from Ukraine."
"...US military weapons that we sent to *Ukraine*, including Javelin anti-tank missiles & missile launchers, are ending up in the hands of Mexican drug cartels south of our border. This is an embarrassment..." wrote Vivek Ramaswamy, a former biopharma entrepreneur who joined the Republican presidential primaries race earlier this year.
Ramaswamy linked to a FirstPost article, which among other sources referenced an "investigation" by RT, a Russian state-run propaganda network.
"A Mexican cartel member was just filmed with a US-made Javelin anti-tank missile/These were the missiles the US flooded into Ukraine in 2022," wrote Jack Posobiec, a conservative activist, in a tweet viewed more than one million times.
"Mexican TV reports that dozens of U.S. AT4 weapons systems, which were originally shipped to Ukraine, have been purchased by Cartel Golfo in Mexico," the Citizens Free Press account on Twitter
Looks like Ukraine sold one or more of the 10k Raytheon FGM-148 Javelin missiles donated to them by the US to Mexican drug cartels. Russia predicted this would happen.

the missile launcher hanging on the shoulder of the man who wears insignia of Los Escorpiones, the paramilitary wing of the Gulf Cartel in Northern Mexico, is an FGM-148 Javelin
there is tangible evidence to suggest the launchers came from Ukraine, the fact is that Ukraine has lost access to most of its ports.
The Pentagon declined to comment for the article.
