Hunter Biden's sweetheart deal was meant to give the Biden Crime Syndicate a "Look, this has been investigated and they found some unpaid taxes stuff" shield from future criticism.

Unfortunately, while fighting off a loving massage from Katy Tur, Biden's little boy's attorney made it clear there was no investigation done by the DOJ and this was just a deal to get this off everyone's plate.
